In the past, most companies delegated key holding responsibilities to a member of their team. Their job was to attend the business premises out-of-hours in the event of an emergency. This could have be a break-in, a fire, or something more serious. Over the years, many businesses have realised that the position of key holder puts that staff member at unnecessary risk, and choose to rely on a third party provider.
Here at Marpol Security, we have been providing key holder solutions to businesses across the North West for years. Our clients come from Chester, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Merseyside, and know that we can be relied upon when they need us most.
As the North West’s leading provider of key holding services, we have much to offer companies in the region. Here are some of the services we provide:
Our key holders form part of our alarm response strategy. In the event of an alarm being triggered at your premises, they will make their way to the scene as quickly as possible. They will establish the cause of the trigger, as well as liaising with any attending police officers or investigators. Once the situation is resolved, they will ensure the building has been secured and locked, and that the alarm has been reset.
As well as alarm response, our key holders will attend any emergency call-out relating to your property. Whether this is a break in, a fire, a bomb threat, or anything else, our highly-trained security professionals will be in attendance. If safe to do so, they will provide access to the building for the emergency services and provide assistance on-site, where they can.
Whatever the reason for the call-out, all our key holders will compile a detailed report of the proceedings. This will include their chronology of events, as well as any findings of the police or other emergency services. Each report will also include recommendations for additional or alternative security measures, where appropriate.
