The role of the keyholder, is much like that of the alarm response officer, but with a somewhat larger remit. While alarm response officers attend your property when a security alarm is triggered outside of office hours, a key holder is on call for any number of unusual events that might require a representative of your company on site. These can include anything from a reported bomb threat, through to a fire on the property, severe storm damage, and more. The keyholder will see to it that authorised personnel can enter the property safely, without having to resort to damaging the doors or windows.
Here at Marpol Security, we organise key holding services for companies all over Blackpool. This includes businesses in Blackpool North, Blackpool Central West, Blackpool Central, and Blackpool South, as well as nearby Fleetwood, Torentum, Lytham, St. Annes, and Wyre.
As Blackpool’s leading provider of key holding services, we have much to offer companies across the town. Here are some of the services we provide:
As with our alarm response role, if your security alarm activates outside of your regular business hours, whomever operates the system will contact our mobile patrol units. Stationed within easy reach of your property, our key holders can be on-site within minutes to secure the premises and investigate the cause of the alarm.
Contact details for our mobile patrol unit is also passed onto other interested parties. This includes the local police service and fire brigade, who can call our professionals in the event of a break-in, fire, bomb threat, or other serious incident. Our key holders will attend the site and offer whatever assistance may be required of them, as well as protecting your company’s interests.
Once things have quietened down on site and our key holders have completed any tasks requiring their attention, they will draw up a thorough and detailed report of the incident. This will combine their own observations of the event with those of the police or any other attendees at your premises. They will also take statements from any independent witnesses, should they feel it necessary. This report is sent to Marpol Security in the first instance, so we may review our colleague’s findings and pinpoint any weaknesses in your current security package. We will then forward the report onto you with our own notes and recommendations.
