It was often the case that companies would entrust a member of their team with the responsibility of responding to a triggered alarm outside of office hours. That member of staff would be contacted by the alarm company and then be expected to drive to the premises to deal with any security breach, reset the alarm, and lock up the building afterwards.
Thankfully, those days are gone for the most part. The role of alarm response is almost always conferred to a third party security company, and with good reason. No employer wishes to see a member of their team put at unnecessary risk by attending a potential break-in. At Marpol Security, we provide alarm response solutions to businesses throughout the East of England, including Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
As the East of England’s leading provider of alarm response solutions, we have much to offer companies in the region. Here are some of the services we provide:
When asked, many of our existing clients place our response speed as a key reason for utilising our alarm response service. We have mobile patrol teams operating in your local area, ready to act where needed at any time of the day or night. Should the emergency services or your alarm provider get in contact with them, we can guarantee a fast and effective response, with our team arriving on site within minutes.
Our first role when we arrive at your premises is to determine what triggered the alarm in the first place and to ensure that no intruders remain on-site. We also inspect all doors and windows for signs of forced entry and other damage. Should the locks or the glass have been broken or tampered with, we can arrange for a local locksmith or glazier to come out and repair or replace them as needed. Once we know the building is secure, we will reset the alarm and lock up the premises.
After attending an alarm response call, our security professionals will always complete a full report. This will comprise their own observations, as well as those of any witnesses or emergency services staff attending the scene. This report allows us to identify any weaknesses with your current security set-up and propose possible changes to improve upon it.
