Traditionally, the responsibility of locking and unlocking a place of business was passed onto a staff member. Since many orchestrated robberies are arranged for opening and closing time, this put employees at an unreasonable risk of attack. It is now common practice to hire a professional security guard to handle this aspect of your workplace.
At Marpol Security, we arrange locking and unlocking services for business throughout the North East. Whether large or small, companies as far apart as Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear, and Cleveland (including Teesside, Wearside, and Tyneside), have benefited from this service.
As the North East’s leading provider of locking and unlocking services, we have much to offer companies in the region. Here are some of the services we provide:
A locking and unlocking service is only truly effective if your building closes and opens at set times every day. Our security specialist will arrive shortly before the last of your team is due to leave for the night. They will complete a brief security check of the building. This is ensure your employees have all left, that any interior doors are secure, and that any windows have been closed and properly locked. If needed, they can also switch off the lights as they proceed. Once this security check is completed, they will set the alarm for the building, prior to locking it up for the night.
An important part of our locking and unlocking service is random inspections. These are performed throughout the night by our mobile security teams operating in your area. They will attend on your building as certain points during the night to complete a perimeter check. This is to ensure all doors and windows are secure, and to make sure there are no signs of attempted entry or damage.
Prior to your team arriving in the morning, our key holder will already be on site. They will see to it that the building has been unlocked and the alarm switched off. They will also perform another check of the building to make sure nothing unexpected has occurred during the night. Once they have completed their unlocking duties, they will wait at the premises for the first of your employees to arrive.
