Like alarm response, key holding is an important role for protecting your premises outside of normal working hours. While an alarm response officer is called out when the alarm itself is triggered, a key holder can be summoned for many reasons, including fires, bomb threats, storm damage, and more.
Marpol Security supplies trained and experienced key holders to businesses across Greater Manchester. This includes companies in Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Salford, Trafford, Tameside, Manchester, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, and beyond.
As Greater Manchester’s leading provider of key holding services, we have much to offer companies in the region. Here are some of the services we provide:
If your security alarm is triggered, the alarm company should have our mobile patrol team as they first point of contact. Your keyholder will be a member of that time and, as such, can be at the site within minutes. They will liaise with any police presence as well as perform their own investigation.
In the event of an emergency such as a fire, bomb threat, or severe storm, the keyholder’s role involves granting access to the emergency services, and acting as a witness regarding any damage incurred by the property. Once the situation has died down, our officer will also perform such tasks as they deem appropriate to secure the building.
For whatever reason your keyholder is called out, they will remain on the scene until matters have resolved themselves. They will liaise with police and other emergency services personnel, as well as any witnesses to the proceedings, compiling their findings in a detailed report. This will include any formal correspondence, such as a police report and be forwarded to our head office in the first instance. Once we have reviewed it for any weaknesses in your security package, it will be passed onto your management team for their consideration.
