A key holder is tasked with attending on your company premises in the event of an out-of-hours emergency. This could anything from the triggering of a security alarm to an outbreak of fire. Traditionally performed by a trusted employee of the company, key holding responsibilities are better left in the hands of trained security professionals.
At Marpol Security, we provide essential key holding solutions right across the West Midlands. This takes in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire.
As the West Midlands’s leading provider of key holding services, we have much to offer companies in the region. Here are some of the services we provide:
Whether your alarm system is monitored by our own team or by a third-party company, they will have our mobile patrols as their first point of contact. In the event of an alarm being triggered, they first action will be to instruct a key holder to investigate the cause. They will look for evidence of forced entry or vandalism and take such steps as necessary to secure the building.
Similar to the above, our key holders also attend your property for other emergencies, including fires, bomb threats, storm damage, and the like. Whether call direct by the emergency services, or at a step removed through our remote monitoring centre, they can be at the premises within minutes. Their role is to grant access to emergency personnel, act as a liaison, and to represent your company in an official capacity.
Every time our keyholders are called out to your property – whatever the reason – they will put together a detailed report of the event. This will include their own observations, plus any additional findings made by the police, witnesses, or other attendees at the scene. These reports are sent to our team here at Marpol Security in the first instance, so that we may identify any weaknesses in your current security package. Should that be the case, we will put together proposals and recommendations to improve it.
