Studies suggest that commercial buildings are at their most vulnerable to attack at the point of opening in the morning and closing at night. It is not hard to see why: employees charged with locking and unlocking the premises are often preoccupied with other thoughts relating to their jobs or personal lives. They are also not expecting any kind of interference in their day-to-day routine and likely have no security or observational training that could mitigate the risk.
Marpol Security offers a locking and unlocking service, undertaken by highly-trained security professionals to minimise any risk. We provide this service to business throughout Wales, including those in Gwent, South Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan, West Glamorgan, Dyfed, Powys, Gwynedd, and Clwyd
As Wales’s leading provider of locking and unlocking services, we have much to offer companies in the country. Here are some of the services we provide:
Our locking and unlocking officer will arrive just before the last of your team is due to leave for the night. Once the building is empty, they will move from floor to floor, checking all windows and fire doors are shut and that there is nobody left in the building. After this, they will set the security alarm before locking and (where appropriate) shuttering the building.
Between your premises being locked of an evening and unlocked of a morning, we will continue to keep an eye on it. We have mobile patrols operating around all of our clients in Wales, covering a route that takes in all properties under our protection. At certain points through the night, they will pause at your building to perform a quick inspection of the exterior doors and windows to ensure they remain locked and secure.
The following morning, our locking and unlocking officer will arrive at your property to reverse the process. Turning up before the rest of your staff, they will unlock the premises and turn of your alarm system. Before anybody else arrives, they will perform another check of the building, to make sure everything is safe and as it should be. Once they are satisfied, the will wait near the entrance for your team to arrive.
