Every commercial building needs to be unlocked for staff at the start of the working day and locked up again after them when their shift is over. Many businesses entrust that role to a member of their team, but that’s a lot of pressure to put on an employee. Not only is it a huge responsibility, it can potentially put them at risk, since many robberies are planned to take place at opening and closing times to limit the number of people on site and therefore minimise resistance.
At Marpol Security, we understand this predicament, which is why we offer custom locking and unlocking services across Yorkshire and the Humber. We have clients from the East Riding of Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire and, of course, Yorkshire itself, able to relax in the knowledge that our experienced security professionals are on hand to lock and unlock their workplaces for them.
As the leading provider of locking and unlocking services in Yorkshire and the Humber, we have much to offer companies in the region. Here are some of the services we provide:
Whatever time your office closes for the night, our SIA-licensed security staff will be there to locking the building down for you. They will perform a sweep of the building to ensure no staff members are on the premises, as well as checking that all doors and windows are closed and locked. They will also see to it that all appliances and lights have be switched off to eliminate the risk of fire. Just before they lock up for the evening, they will set your security alarm for you.
For your added peace of mind, we can arrange one of our mobile patrols to perform a random check on your building outside of office hours. This involves a brief inspection of the perimeter to check for signs of forcible entry or other damage, as well as double-checking your doors and windows are locked.
Our key holder will be at your building before any member of your team gets there, so there will never be a time when you staff are forced to wait around to begin their shift. They will unlock the building, turn of the alarm, and perform another sweep of the premises. This time they are checking for any signs of disturbance through the night, whilst also turning on such lights and appliances as are necessary. They will then hang on for the first of your employees to turn up at work.
