As an insolvency practitioner, much of your work revolves around protecting the dissolved assets of your clients. This means ensuring void buildings have the right security solution in place to meet the requirements of any insurance policy whilst they are in your care.
Here at Marpol Security, we put together bespoke security plans, specially tailored to the needs of insolvency practitioners operating across North Wales. This includes our valued clients as far afield as Wrexham, Rhyl, Llandudno, Pwllheli, Prestatyn, Tywyn, Bangor, St. Asaph, Harlech, Caernarfon, Conwy, and beyond.
As North Wales’s leading provider of security solutions, we have much to offer insolvency practitioners in the country. Here are some of the services we provide:
The first priority for our team is to perform a full risk assessment of your void properties. This takes in any existing security measures, insurance requirements, and environmental factors that might make them vulnerable. From our report, we can put together an effective security solution that works for you.
If your newly-acquired properties are still used for holding valuable equipment or stock, they may be at particular risk from thieves and vandals. We supply on-site security guards, as well as canine units, both of which can operate on 24-hour rolling shifts, where needed.
A more cost-effective solution to manned security is closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance. We can install fixed systems for long-term contracts, or temporary ones for shorter periods. Whichever you choose, it will send a high-resolution video feed to our remote monitoring unit, which is checked round the clock. Should our monitoring team spot any unusual activity, they will send round one of our local mobile patrol units.
A quick, yet effective, way of protecting empty buildings is to change the locks on all windows and doors, and install roller shutters for added protection. This keeps the property safe, even if the former owner has kept the key.
To ensure any vacant properties continue to meet your insurers’ requirements for cover, you are expected to check their security arrangements regularly. Our mobile patrol units check the locks and shutters throughout the day, and also perform full inspections, as often as your policy demands.
