Much like our alarm response service, key holding is a duty that was once passed onto a trusted member of staff. Their role is to attend the workplace outside of office hours in the event of a break in, fire, bomb threat, or other emergency. Once there, they are expected to assist emergency services staff and other authorised bodies to gain access to the property.
Again, these duties are now assigned to respected and trusted third parties, such as Marpol Security. Our mobile patrol units provide a full key holding service for businesses across North Wales. This includes Wrexham, Rhyl, Llandudno, Pwllheli, Prestatyn, Tywyn, Bangor, St. Asaph, Harlech, Caernarfon, Conwy, and beyond can benefit from our effective key holder packages.
As North Wales’s leading provider of key holding services, we have much to offer companies across the country. Here are some of the services we provide:
Our mobile patrol units – including your keyholder – are the registered first point of contact for your security alarm provider. Should an alarm be triggered they will call the keyholder in the first instance. Since they are part of our mobile patrol team, they can be at the scene within minutes, no matter when the call comes through.
Security alarms are just one reason a key holder might get called out to your property. The local police and fire stations will also have our mobile patrols as their first point of contact. This means that, in the event of a fire, bomb threat, vandalism attempt, and even storm damage, our key holder will be at the scene within minutes of receiving the request. The will provide access to any authorised personnel and be of assistance where needed.
After they have completed any required actions and secured the building, our key holders will compile a full report of what transpired. This will include testimonies from any attending emergency services or other witness, coupled with their own observations and any conclusions they might have drawn of the incident. The report comes to our management team in the first instance to determine if any changes need to be made to your security package. It will then be forwarded on to you along with our recommendations.
