Risk management
The first role undertaken by your new fire marshal will be a full risk assessment and appraisal of your current fire safety measures. They will check the entire building, identifying any fire risks they encounter. This will allow them to compile a report showing the changes that need to be made.
Fire prevention
The whole purpose of a fire marshal is to limit the chance of fire-related incidents at your company. They will liaise with the local fire department and members of your staff to discuss their risk assessment report. From there, they will make recommendations one how to improve fire safety, before passing them onto your management team for implementation.
Fire warden training
