Risk management
When we first assign a fire marshal to you, they will want to inspect your existing fire safety precautions. They conduct a detailed and in-depth inspection of the building, identifying potential fire hazards. From here they can compile a report comparing your current fire safety situations to the regulations covered by the Fire Precautions Act 1971.
Fire prevention
Our fire marshals minimise the likelihood of fire-related risk on your company premises. They will liaise with your management team and the local fire department to create the most effective fire safety protocols for the building.
Fire warden training
Our fire marshals travel from site to site, so will not be at your building all the time. To ensure the continued safety of your staff, they will train up fire wardens to form an in-house team of fire safety personnel. They will have responsibility for evacuating staff and visitors from the building in the event of a fire (or a fire drill, of course), and will also be trained in the use of emergency fire safety equipment, including extinguishers and blankets.
Fire evacuation
As part of their building assessment, our fire marshals will also take a good look at your existing evacuation procedures. The will make any adjustments that they deem necessary before filtering these new processes through your wardens, down to you front-line staff. To ensure these new procedures are effective, they will also arrange regular fire drills.
