ESSENTIAL ALARM RESPONSE SERVICE
It used to be the case that, when a security alarm went off in a commercial building, it was vital that the owner or manager of the building be immediately informed. However, the fact is that, in most cases, there was very little that they could do once they got there. Most company owners, however adept they might be in their own line of business, are not security experts and, as such, are not the best choice to be first on the scene.
SECURITY OFFICERS
At the heart of our alarm response services across the UK is our dedicated team of professional security officers. These are the men and women who will actually attend the scene once we are alerted of an alarm activation on your premises and liaise with any police officers who might also be on site. Their job is to determine the cause of the alarm, establish any loss or damage, and to secure the building again once any police presence has left.
CONTROL ROOM MANAGERS
Co-ordinating the security officers are our Control Room managers. These are the first point of contact should an alarm be breached, acting as a liaison point, instructing our mobile security officers where to go and what to do. All of our Control Room managers have lengthy and significant experience within the security industry, making them a cornerstone of our operation.
DETAILED REPORTING
Of course, just because you’re not attending the scene yourself, that’s no reason for you to be kept out of the loop. Any time one of our patrolling supervisors is informed of an alarm being activated on your property, they will liaise with the attending security officer, as well as any police in attendance, and compile a thorough and detailed report. Each alarm response report includes the cause of the activation, any immediate action taken at the scene, as well as official references from the police and other pertinent parties involved.
